Artificial board formability tester
Model
BC-CXX-054
Experimental principle
After being heated by a heating wire of a certain power, the veneer of the artificial board test piece is placed in a wooden mold and bent to the specified angle and radius, and the bent part is observed for cracks.
Compliant with standards
GB/T 17657-2013 Test Method for Physical and Chemical Properties of Wood based Panels and Decorative Panels 4.53 Determination of Formability

Contains components
Adjustable voltage radiation heater with a rated total power of 1500W, adjustable working voltage, and a selectable voltage range of 0-250V;
The melting point of the temperature indicator is 163 ℃;
A stopwatch is used to calculate the time required for self heating to melt the temperature indicator;
The molding device is made of metal and wood, with an overall length of about 600mm, a height of about 150mm, and a width of about 70mm;
The temperature range of the constant temperature and humidity chamber is 5-50 ℃, the humidity range is 50-90%, and the inner compartment is 380 * 400 * 520mm;
High temperature resistant gloves are used to move heated specimens to the molding device;
Magnifying mirror 10 x, used to observe the cracks, bubbles, or delamination of the specimen after heating and forming;
Calibration strip (self-made by the customer) is used to select the working voltage, so that the heat transfer time on the specimen is 4000s.
Usage steps
1. Prepare test specimens and calibration strips, and perform balancing treatment on them;
2. Calibrate the radiation heater and select the test voltage;
3. Heat the test piece;
4. Place the specimen into the molding apparatus;
5. Take out the specimen and observe its changes;
6. Write a test report.
